We are unable to read every unsolicited script sent to us.   For this reason we operate a limited policy for reading.

1: We accept  unsolicited scripts only from established writers or from bona fide agents.

2: Currently we are only accepting scripts aimed at BBC Radio drama and comedy slots.

If you are a new writer to radio  and you believe you have a script which has potential, please contact us first to consult us about whether we are able to read it.  

We are currently unable to consider stage, TV or film scripts.  See the orange box on this page for details of a professional script reading service we are happy to recommend.

Script Reading Service

We hope to be able to resume  in the near future our offer of contact with a professional script reading service in the near future. This service is provided by a former BBC producer and director .  The reader is completely independent of Fiction Factory but we do take recommendations from him.  He charges writers a modest fee for evaluating their work and providing a detailed critique and he will pass on to this company work he believes has the potential to make it to broadcast.
